Chambre syndicale des fabricants de produits pharmaceutiques

In France, the first “chambre syndicale” (union of the pharmaceutical manufacturers) was created in 1879.

This token was struck with the initial dies, as indicated by the “pipe” mark, only used in 1879. Identical tokens were subsequently struck with the “corne” mark. They are easier to find.
