Medal struck to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the entry of Burkhard Reber at the School of Pharmacy.

Burkhard Reber became pharmacist in 1877. He was appointed pharmacist-in-chief of the Geneva hospital in 1879. He is well-known for his collection of pharmaceutical antiques which can now be seen in Nyon. He was also a strong support of cremation and promoted this technique by creating the Geneva Society for Cremation in 1888-1889.
