10 Euro coin commemorating the 200 years of the birth of Carl Spitzweg. C. Spitweg was born in Munich where he studied pharmacy and worked in the pharmacy shop of his father. He established himself as a pharmacist in 1832. He became interested in the arts, poetry and painting. He travelled a lot and became a well-known painter and caricaturist.
