Obverse: circular legend: Devins & Bolton Druggists Montreal in the center use /Devins’/vegetable/ Worm/Pastilles/July 1st/1867 Reverse: Dominion of Canada Province of Quebec Advertising token issued by Devins & Bolton, a firm of Montreal druggists. The token was struck in Birmingham, England. Most of the issue of 8,000 specimens was seized by the Canadian customs and destroyed, due to the close resemblance with the Canadian cent.
