Obverse : HIPPOCRATE Reverse: ECOLE DE MEDECINE ET DE PHARMACIE DE LIMOGES The teaching of apothecary started in Limoges as soon as 1626. The college of medicine was founded in 1660. The school of medicine and pharmacy of Limoges was created by the decree of 1841, as 22 other schools in France. The faculty was founded in 1968.
