Jöns Jacob Berzelius was born in Sweden in 1779. He is considered as one of the founders of the modern chemistry. Although he graduated in Medicine and Chemistry, Berzelius started his career as apothecary. He also taught botanics and pharmacy in Stockholm from 1807 to 1831.
