Obverse : HYGIA SALUS Reverse : SOCIETAS PHARMACEUTICA PARISIENSIS / MDCCXCVI The Société de pharmacie de Paris decided to create tokens in 1818 for its members present during the society meetings. In 1820, a new token model, identical to this one, was adopted. Its use lasted up to WWI. The exact date at which this copper token was struck is not known.
