Award medal given by the Danish Society for the Dissemination of Natural Science (SNU). This society was founded by H.C. Örsted in 1824.
H. C. Örsted became pharmacist in 1797. He is well-known for discovering the interaction between electricity and magnetism. He received the Copley medal in 1820. The bronze medal has been awarded since 2001, according to the SNU website. Also exists in silver and gold |
