This medal was struck in 1934 to commemorate Pr Angelescu’s 65th birthday. It was a tribute from the professors of the Bucharest School of Pharmacy.
Pr Angelescu (1869-1948) was Doctor of Medicine, Plenipotentiary Minister in the United States (1917–1918), Minister of Public Works and Communications, of the Instruction and Cults several times, Prime Minister after the death of I.G. Duca, professor and director of the surgical clinic at the Faculty of Medicine in Bucharest. |
